The Methow River Valley is a haven for catch and release enthusiasts. The Methow River flows from snowfields high in the Pasayten and Lake Chelan-Sawtooth wilderness areas, and are carefully managed as a selective-gear fishery. Fish for steelhead in the fall and trout throughout the summer. Because catch-and-release management has been consistent throughout the years, plan to catch some pretty darned big fish here, and a lot of them!
