Wildflowers are one of the subtle calling cards one may not think about when considering what makes the Cascade Loop so special, but when you take a look at the breadth and depth of floral life along the byway, it is a powerful reminder of the positive impact of natural beauty.
The flowers that we've included in this guide certainly do not attempt to cover all wildflowers--we are not botanists or scientists of any kind BUT we sure do seem to take a LOT of flower photos during our outings and get a genuine kick out of understanding what the plants are and what they are called. Watching for wildflowers while on nature walks is a perfect way to quietly enjoy the natural environment and leaving the worries of daily life behind.
